Parking at Birmingham International Airport.
Birmingham International Airport Car Parking is run by NCP(0121 767 7861) and pre-booking on longer stays gives a 10% reduction. Remember that hotels often give deals for parking and a hotel room that can be as cheap, or cheaper than the parking alone. Cost conscious travellers should consider whether this refreshing start or end to their journey may also make economic sense.
Short Stay Parking
The short stay car park is next to terminals, 3 minutes walk away. A stay of up to 30 minutes will cost £1.50 and a two hour stop cost just under £5. Stays over this become prohibative with a stay of less than 4 hours costing £15.
Mid Stay or Business Parking
The multi storey car park is 5 minutes walk away but is no cheaper for stays below 3 hours. However a full day can cost £8.50 if pre booked. Special offers are available for 8 days(£60) and 15 days(£127.50).
Long Stay Parking
There are 2 long stay car parks either side of the main 'Bird Island' roundabout at the entrance to the airport. A shuttle bus will then take you to the terminals. The minimum payment is £6.20 so if you are going to be less than 3 hours its cheaper to use the other airport carparks. Pre-booked the long stay car park costs £6.00 per day with a special £75.00 pricew for a 15 day holiday.
Off Airport Parking Providers
APH Birmingham provides a car park just off junction 9 of the M42. It takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to transfer to the terminal buildings and a trensfer service operates every 10 to 15 minutes all day and night. This service is often 25% cheaper than on airport parking.
Airparks Services is about 4 and a half miles from the airport and there is around a 15 minute transfer time. Again there is 15 minutes between free shuttles which run 24 hours per day.
Meet and Greet Parking Providers
CPS Personal Parking provides a service where the transfer of your vehicle to a car park(Airparks facility) is provided by a chauffer. He will take your car from outside the terminal and arrange to return it to you when your flight lands. All you need do is call them once you have landed.
